Parkour has gained popularity with Iranian women via watching illegal satellite television. Due to cultural differences, the obstacles faced by these women traceur are more than just physical; they have to be alert to the police and members of public who may act as ‘morality police’. Not to mention, training with a headscarf is a bit of a safety hazard.
